Welcome to Jake's Performance.  My areas of specialty include complete restoration work from mechanical to body and interior on any make of musclecar, as well as performance engine builds and upgrades including late model drivetrain retrofits, and performance GM automatic transmissions.

I am certified in all 8 of the specialty areas that comprise the Master Automotive  Technician Certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence or ASE. I also hold Advanced Engine Performance certification and am a Master Engine Machinist.

My automotive background includes working in private repair shops, as a GM Service Technician, a painter and assembly tech at a major OEM auto manufacturer, a machinist helper, and as a subject matter expert to one of the military's highest priority special operations units.

My goal is to provide high quality work at a reasonable price to the performance automotive enthusiast. My shop is conveniently located about 45 miles Northwest of Dallas, Texas, a short distance from I-35. I specialize in the classic and performance car niche. I own musclecars so I understand what the enthusiast wants from a shop.
