We offer transmission rebuild kits and parts for the hardcore DIY'er. Jake started out building transmissions because he was good at breaking them. At the time, finding parts and helpful information was difficult. The internet has made it much easier to find parts but has also contributed to confusing and often misleading information. Our goal is to provide a very complete rebuild kit, not your standard "Rebuild kit" or "Master Kit" but a kit complete enough that you don't need to make multiple orders to get the job done.
One of the greatest features of our kits is tech support. We will try to help you successfully rebuild your own transmission.
Our kits are based on our experience of what the transmissions typically need, where we can make improvements, and with the home rebuilder in mind.
A basic kit includes a complete set of friction plates, steel plates, bands, gasket and seal kit, filter, modulator if applicable, bushing kit, thrust washer kit, and unit specific upgrades.
Compare our kits to the competitors. Does their kit contain a low band, full set of bushings and thrust washers, any of the small but important upgrade parts such as a heavy duty intermediate snap ring for the TH400, or rollerized rear thrust package?
TH400 "Stage I" Rebuild Package-
All the standard parts listed above plus components to rollerize the output shaft to case, perform direct clutch dual feed modification, heavy duty intermediate snap ring to prevent case lug failure, valve body modification parts for fimer shifts and manual/auto configuration. $250 shipped within the cont. TH400 "Stage II" Rebuild Package-
Same as above but with upgraded clutch material and count for the 2nd and 3rd gear packs, 4 clutch intermediate instead of stock 3, 6 clutch direct instead of 5, machined direct piston, rollerized forward hub assembly. $325 shipped within the cont. U.S.
TH350 "Stage I" Rebuild Package-
All the standard rebuild parts listed above plus a hardened intermediate sprag race, parts and instructions for direct clutch dual feed modification and valve body mods for firmer shifts.
