We are offering rebuild kits for the DIY rebuilder. Our kits contain the same high quality parts that we use to rebuild our units. We will also offer a professional rebuild tech manual for $25 additional with each kit. I highly suggest you add this if you are a new builder or do not have a manual. PLEASE understand that we are selling you the kit, not the rebuild. We cannot rebuild your transmission over the phone or email. We will provide tech support for our upgrade parts, but basic rebuilding questions will NOT be answered. If it is beyond your skill level, please have a professional technician build the transmission for you.
TH400 RV/HD BASIC KIT
Master Rebuild Kit with Borg Warner Tan OEM style frictions, OEM clutch pack count, new steels, paper/rubber overhaul set, high flow filter, front band, pump, case, and tailhousing bushing. This is a very basic "freshen up" kit for a stock or near stock unit. $175 plus shipping.
TH400 RV/HD Full Rebuild Kit
Same as the BASIC Kit but includes a full set of bushings, thrust washers, new OEM rear band, and low roller clutch.

TH400 RACE BASIC KIT-
Similar to the RV/HD BASIC KIT but we use upgraded friction materials and count for the clutch packs. It will consist of a 5 clutch forward, 6 clutch direct, and 4 clutch intermediate with steels. MACHINING may be required in some cases to fit the extra clutches, this is the responsibility of the installer. Good kit for freshening up a unit already setup for racing.
TH400 RACE FULL KIT-
Same as the RV/HD Full kit but with the upgraded materials and counts.
TH400 Stage II Kit -
This is the COMPLETE kit that we use to build our Stage II TH400 build. It is an upgrade from the TH400 RACE FULL KIT. It will have a complete kit with High Energy frictions throughout, new steels, torrington bearing upgrades for the output shaft to case, and a machined forward hub with torrington, new OEM rear band, low roller clutch, 34 element sprag, full set of bushings, thrust washers, HD intermediate snap ring, high flow filter, paper/rubber set, and case connector.
$500 plus shipping.
NOTE: IF you do not have a smooth type direct drum from an early TH400 or 4L80E, you will need one to use the 34 element sprag. Please add $100 for a quality inspected used drum.
4L80E BASIC KIT-
This is a basic rebuild kit with all new frictions, steels, paper/rubber set, filter, front band, pump, case, and output bushing. We always use the '97-up style kit as it will work fine on the earlier units and includes the better friction materials.

4L80E FULL REBUILD KIT-
Includes all the components of the BASIC kit but adds a full set of bushings, thrust washers, OEM rear band, and low roller clutch.

4L80E STAGE II KIT-
All the rebuild components we use to build our STAGE II units.
Everything above plus new shift solenoids, internal harness, boost valve, HD intermediate snap ring, upgraded friction count for direct, rear torrington bearing, machined forward hub with torrington bearing, 34 element sprag, OD roller clutch, and instructions/parts to make your own hydraulic improvements without buying a valve body kit.
TH350 Basic Kit-
